Mucho Gusto Taco Concept Pops Up at Garzón in Brickell

In Miami Food Pug

To introduce and celebrate the newest member of the Cantina La Veinte family, Mucho Gusto in Brickell, Executive Chef Santiago Gomez will be co-hosting a festive taqueria night at Gabriel Medici’s neighboring restaurant, Garzón. The party begins at 8 p.m. and will be drawing to a close at 10 p.m.

An upcoming restaurant concept by Cantina La Veinte, fittingly named Mucho Gusto, the restaurant is due to open late September 2016. The taqueria restaurant has been described as a ‘mind-blowing farm to taco’ concept and will be making their presence known in the long-awaited Brickell City Centre. At the helm of this unique Mexican restaurant is highly experienced Chef Santiago Gomez.

A graduate from Barcelona’s renowned Hofmann School of Hospitality, Chef Gomez moved to Miami after influential words from a close friend. After working at the famed NOBU in both South Florida and Mexico City locations, as serendipity would have it, regular NOBU diner Alberto Cinta, CEO of Cinbersol Restaurant Group (Mexico’s largest hospitality company) persuaded Chef Gomez to join the team.

With everything that Chef Gomez touches turning to gold, it was an easy choice as to who would be leading the way of the group’s newest opening. The restaurant has been described as the ‘place to be’ once Brickell’s newest mall opens. In celebration of this Brickell opening, on the evening of April 7th, guests will be teased by the tastes of what’s to come on the Mucho Gusto menu.

The festivities will begin outside on Garzon’s vibrant terrace. The tacos and tequila will be flowing and the atmosphere will be occupied with the lively buzz of music and guest’s partying.

Taco stands will adorn the inside and outside of the animated venue and Chef Gomez will be serving up Mucho Gusto’s Tacos al Pastor and other creations from the new menu. Garzón will be cooking up tacos seasoned with the flavors from their worldly menu. Veteran taco maker, Chef Gomez is in charge of making the homemade tortillas, of which both Mucho Gusto and Garzón will be using as the foundation of their tasty tacos.

With an energetic and friendly neighborhood vibe, Don Julio Tequila will have their own stand as the event’s liquor sponsor. Guests will have the pleasure of sipping on exceptional quality tequila as well as drinking a selection of Mexican beer.

The terrace will be for those standing and the energetic lot; inside, guests can take seat at Garzon’s tables and will be greeted by a server.
